We fixed the class 2 subdivision and deep bite using class 2 elastics and anterior bite ramps. This helped correct the deep bite, achieve functional occlusion, and improve the upper incisor position. The result was a beautiful smile arc with better lip support.
We utilised lower incisor extraction to effectively resolve the lower crowding and successfully correct complex rotations of the lower canines to achieve a well-aligned lower arch, with ideal overjet and overbite.
Midline angulations tend to be more aesthetically concerning than midline deviations. Using dual-stage IPR, we successfully aligned the upper midline and corrected the moderately crowded lower anterior teeth. This allowed us to harmonize dental and facial midline angulations, resulting in a beautifully aligned smile.
Extruding buccally erupted canines can be challenging, especially when correcting multiple anterior rotations. Using roundtripping and careful staging, we were able to align the anterior teeth effectively to achieve beautifully aligned arches, achieved without aggravating the preexisting gingival recession.
